Are you ready for the 2010 Power Cruise? On July 24th, we roll out from our rally points in Cincinnati, Louisville, Bowling Green, Nashville and Knoxville...with our final destination being the Show & Shine at Somernites Cruise! We want YOU to join in the fun this year! The Power Cruise is a fun, rolling car show involving hundreds of show cars and trucks from all over the region. Each city will have a Friday night activity for you to take part in. Members of the Somernites Cruise Team will be onhand to answer any questions you may have about the event. Then, on Saturday morning, July 24th we will meet at our designated rally points and cruise out to head to Somerset, Ky for the July edition of Somernites Cruise! Click the button on the upper right of this page for the host city of your choice. A new page will open and you will get more specific info on rally points, locations and times. Participation is FREE and you do not need to pre-register! Imagine being a part of this caravan of show vehicles rolling down the highway as huge group! You don't want to miss out on the fun! Can't make it to one of the host cities for the Saturday morning roll-out? You can still be a part of the Power Cruise! Simply join in the rear of the line as we pass thru your town! If you live in an area the Power Cruise isn't scheduled to roll thru, why not organize your own mini-cruise and join up with one of the main groups along the route or just cruise all the way to Somerset with your own group! When we arrive in Somerset, all Power Cruise Participants will converge on Grand Central Shopping Center, located at stoplight #18 on US Hwy 27 south, known locally as 'the strip'. This parking lot will be our staging area before heading downtown for the Show & Shine. You will have a few minutes for lunch, to freshen up and stretch your legs. The Grand Central Merchants will be holding drawings for great door prizes and hosting fun activities onsite! Local restaurants will be passing out special discount coupons for those interested in getting a bite to eat. All participants will receive their free 2010 Power Cruise window stickers as well! ***At 1pm you will be provided a police escort to your very own special entrance gate at the Show & Shine!*** For those cruising with us from the five main cities, please have your show vehicles gased up and ready for a non-stop trip to Somerset. If you need to pull out of line to make a pit stop along the way, simply rejoin the group at the rear of the line as soon as you can. The July 24th Power Cruise show is traditionally our biggest show of the year and we suggest making hotel reservation today!
