Tune Up Cruise-in at Dairy Queen
on US 27 (stoplight #6)
If you live locally or are planning on getting to town
early, join as we relax and tell some cruisin' tales
while enjoying some tasty ice cream! This is a very
relaxing way to kick off the cruisin' weekend.
Friday, October 23rd, Noon-2PM:
Early Bird Meet & Greet/Q97 Live Remote from Visitors Center!
1 block west of Kmart on Hwy 80, stop by and say "hi!", FREE Pepsi's and T-shirts along with great
classic rock from Classic Hits Q97! Cruise Team members will be onhand and we would love to meet
you!
Friday, October 23rd, 6PM-10PM:
***New Location and Bigger than ever!***
Rock & Roll Block Party presented by
Somerset Walmart is now at stoplight #15
(The Center) on US 27!
Bring your classic or hotrod and enjoy this fun, “ must do”
for the entire family! Door prizes, contests, food, live bands
and dancing! Over 250 showcars attend this event each
month, don't miss it! Feel free to “cruise the strip” on
Friday night as well! Cruise weekend is just getting started!
Friday, October 23rd, 10PM-2AM:
***New Event! Midnight Madness at London Dragway!***
Grudge race, test & tune or simply have some fun at the dragstrip! Cost is $10 per car and there is
no limit on the number of timed passes you can make. A caravan from the Wal-Mart Block Party will
leave at 9:15pm to head over to the track. The Rally area will be the parking lot in front of Lowes
Home Center. Brought to you by London Dragway and KyStreets.com

Saturday Morning Fun Run ***Grand

Cruise Entrance Gates Open in Downtown
Somerset for the Show & Shine!!!
It’s the Big Show!!! Blocks and blocks of showcars and
trucks! Stroll thru the downtown area admiring all the
chrome and horsepower, talk to car owners and enjoy the
family oriented atmosphere! Don't forget to visit our official
merchandise trailer for the brand new '09 t-shirts for adults
and kids. In the Vendor Alley, you can sample great food,
check out vendor displays and shop for new performance
and restoration parts. There is always plenty to see and do
at SomernitesCruise! You will enjoy the great cruisin' tunes all over town too!
October is Hotrod Haulers month!!!
How about those hot trucks! The show-within-a-show
series concludes for the year with a special area just for
trucks only! Classic’s, custom’s, pro-street, mini’s and
just about everything in between! If you own a truck, we
want to see it at the show this month, parked in the
Hotrod Haulers area! This would be a great time for a
club meet as well! So, load ‘em up and cruise ‘em in!

You’ve asked for it and here it is! We will have special parking for European Cars at the October
show in the center of town! If you own something from “across the pond”, bring it out! All makes,
models and years welcome but, vehicles must be of European origin.

We just love giving stuff away! So, starting at 7:00PM on the Square in downtown Somerset it's our
final show of the year so, it must be time to draw some lucky winners! We have been offering tickets
all year on that awesome ***Black 2009 Challenger SE*** from Don Marshall Dodge Chrysler Jeep
here in Somerset and the fantastic Car Trailer courtesy of GatorMade Trailers! Starting at approx. 7:
00PM with the drawing for the Car Trailer and finishing up at approx. 7:30PM with the Challenger
drawing, we will be making some lucky cruisers very happy! Hopefully, you have your tickets by
now? Remember, you do NOT have to be present to win...don't worry, we will call you!
Cruisin' The Strip all weekend!
We know it's one of the main reasons you come to SomernitesCruise so, get your car out on “the
strip” and cruise! Thousands of spectators waving and cheering from streetside! Lots of activities at
businesses up and down the strip. Tune your radio to 97.1FM for great tunes and cruise the night
away! There's plenty to see and do. We want to see you cruising your car or truck! It's a blast!
Please cruise in the outside lanes, be courteous and obey all posted traffic laws. We want to see
you again next month!
