If you live locally or are planning on getting to town early, join as we relax and tell some cruisin' tales
while enjoying some tasty ice cream! This is a very relaxing way to kick off the cruisin' weekend.

Early Bird Meet & Greet/Q97 Live Remote from Visitors Center!
1 block west of Kmart on Hwy 80, stop by and say "hi!", FREE Pepsi's and T-shirts along with great
classic rock from Q97! We would love to meet you!
6PM-10PM:
Wal-Mart's Rock & Roll Block Party at stoplight #13 on US 27!
Bring your classic or hotrod and enjoy fun for the entire family! Door prizes, costume contests, food, live
bands and dancing! Over 250 showcars attend this event each month, don't miss it!

Saturday Morning Fun Run ***Grand Central Shopping Center, at stoplight
#18 ***Fun Run participants will receive a FREE breakfast at the Rally Point
before departing.
We depart at 9:30AM promptly for the June destination...the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in nearby
London, KY. This is a rare, behind the scenes look at a major shipping hub that supplies many WalMart
stores on a daily basis. Ever wonder how all those different products get to your local store's shelves?
Join us on this fascinating Fun Run to see for yourself!
2PM:
Cruise Entrance Gates Open in Downtown Somerset for the Show &
Shine!!!
Blocks and blocks of showcars and trucks! Stroll thru the downtown area admiring all the chrome and
horsepower, talk to car owners and enjoy the family oriented atmosphere! Don't forget to visit our official
merchandise trailer for the brand new '08 t-shirts for adults and kids. In the Vendor Alley, you can
sample great food, check out vendor displays and shop for new performance and restoration parts.
There is always plenty to see and do at SomernitesCruise! Stop by the DJ trailer and leave us a bumper
sticker or dash plaque with your car club's name on it and we will display it proudly in the trailer! You will
enjoy the great cruisin' tunes all over town too!
June is Mopar Mania month!!!
For June, we turn the spotlight on the mighty Mopars! Again, this is a free show-within-a-show at
SomernitesCruise. A special area set aside just for Mopars...and Mopars only! All makes and models
are welcome and we even encourage Mopar Clubs to bring all your members and have a mini-meet
during this event. We expect a huge turnout! Look for special performance displays from this event's
sponsor Don Marshall Dodge of Somerset!
Cornhole Tournament at Somernites!
Start practicing now for the monthly Cornhole Tournament to be held during the Show & Shine! The
Young Chamber Professionals of Lake Cumberland will host the games in the parking lot next to the
old Library. Registration begins at 2:00PM and the first cornbag will be tossed at 4:30PM. Cost is $20
per team and the winners will split the pot with the March of Dimes for charity. It's for a great cause
so, don't miss out!
SPECIAL EVENT FOR JUNE 28th: it's SomerBlast!!!
FREE Concerts, and an enormous Fireworks show at Somersport Park here in Somerset, KY!!!
Brought to you by the Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce. A nationally known band as
the headlining act...can YOU guess who it will be? Last year more than 20,000 attended! This years
SomerBlast will be even bigger and better! More details posted as we get closer! Don't miss this
amazing evening of FREE fun after you leave Somernites!

We know it's one of the main reasons you come to SomernitesCruise so, get your car out on "the
strip" and cruise! Thousands of spectators waving and cheering from streetside! Lots of activities at
businesses up and down the strip. Tune your radio to 97.1FM for great tunes and cruise the night
away! There's plenty to see and do, just remember...we want to see you cruising your car or truck!
It's a blast! Have fun and we'll see you back next month!
